Using Facebook as Your Page

In this short tutorial, Kristina shows you how to use Facebook as your organization. You must have a Facebook page (not just a personal profile) and you must be an administrator of that page in order to do this.

To be clearer perhaps: if they need help to manage their page, opening tabs seems more difficult, i guess. Can you tell I've had to train probably thousands to use the web/computers, etc....Not trying to be or seem obtuse.

I do manage more than 5 pages & I get a "slider" to scroll to the others...(but it is buggy & sometimes is there & other times is not) and I only mentioned it - because the method you used of opening the page in another window seemed even more difficult for a casual user... that is was why I mentioned the elbow. However, and I follow your blog religiously - and always find you to be very direct and to the point, and guess I thought that part seemed out of character - FYI

I don't think you can switch exactly, but you can simply like the page as your organization and then unlike it from your personal account. Thanks! This video was recorded before the voice option was offered. I address that here in a follow-up video. Also, if you are an admin of several pages then you won't have the option to switch to all of them from that drop down menu. I can only see 5 in that list when I admin 8 pages. This video shows you how no matter what. There's nothing worse than following a tutorial and seeing that their screen doesn't match what you see!

Kristina, great job! This is a quick & simple tutorial. I'm just not sure why you wouldn't just go to the drop down next to the home button to switch to your business identity? The way you went in seems a bit around the elbow to get to your hand. Also Facebook has rolled out the "voice" bar underneath of that (which I don't see here) which allows you to switch from your personal to professional voices when posting or responding...have you not gotten this yet?

This is so helpful. Maybe you could tell us how to switch our likes, if we have already liked a business entitiy as ourselves, but our intention was to like them as a business. Thank you.
