  • Do you have some probleme whit your 0.020 shaved cylinder head.

  • @10sexmachine

    only when I had no aftermarket vavle springs and overspun the engine (over reved by grabbing the wrong gear). But no, none that would occur normally

  • they will not fit an 08 - you have VVT

  • nice job man! i have a ss/sc and wondering did u have to get a tune with the cams? and is this video with the 78lb springs?

    @onthehevysyde420

    preciate it :D

    as fas as the tune goes you woud just install and get a tune from someone skilled with hp tuners, or my preference, which is to call up vince a trifectaperfomace,com and have him send out a tuning cable for you to get tuned with. And no, this is before he 78lb springs and before the new header/dp

  • do you know if these cams fit an 08 ecotec? Everywhere i try getting them they only say 05-07?

  • Love this video man I have an 08 and everywhere I try and get these cams they say they only fit 05-07 Do you know if these would work on an 08?

  • if yur running factory lifters yur gonna collapse them. end of story. ive already beem down that road. its not fun. as for the balance shafts. i deleted mine aswell but it doesnt matter. unless your lower end is balanced for use with that specific pulley yur gonna run into problems. ATI has a nice write up on engine harmonics and aftermarket balancers.

  • THe lifters have been shown to be fine, that has been discussed before. At they are the right lifters for the cam. And for the crank pulley, i plan on getting rid of the balance shafts all together...so itll be a mute point then

  • i know im right! i run supertech 78lb springs aswell. you also need to look into solid lifters. with a cam that heavy you will collapse the factory ones. i know cuz i thappened to me and my cam isnt that fat. also get rid of that lightweight crank pulley too. unless yur lower rotating assembly is balanced to that specific pulley you are throwing off your engines harmonics. spells disaster for sure.
