the 19s have more rotational mass. thats 2 more inches to turn than the 17s. might not seem like much, but its power wasted

Wow, I'll give you the win, congrats but the Mustang could have done a lot better. I have a '94 Mustang GT with a 5L 302 and I know it has a lot more power than that.

I haven't seen stock 5 liters break deep into the 14's though, usually they're around the 14.7-15.2 mark. That being said, there were a enough Mustangs running 12's and under there that day!
