So beautiful to watch. This is the future of horse training!

Gah. If only the guys at my school could dance as well as that horse.
You've done a great job training her, and she's very pretty;)

There's NO better dance partner than YOUR HORSE!!! Ya'll look like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers!!! How fun!!!

where do i get this and how much is it???

i love this method of training in my opinion it is one of the most humane training methods out there. i train my horses to dance in the same manner as this and have only used a whip once on one of my horses.

It's so heart warming to see the bond between girl and horse that can be creatd with such gentle means. Your video brought a smile to my face - thanks!

AWSOME I LOVE IT!!!!!
I do nothing to tell her what to do. She does it all on her own. She learned this dance 3 days prior to the film. Soon she will notice the lift of the foot might be a signal for her to start. I used Clicker Training to teach her this

That's so amazing! How in the world do you train a horse to do that? Please reply or message me. I'd love to know

Clicker Training is how I taught this horse to do this.

I'd like to try this with my friends 21 year old thoroughbred.
She is sooo people orientated... she would do anything for you... this would give her something educational to do instead of chewing...
;-) thx for sharing!

This mare is funny she likes to free lance dance. This is what she does when she doesn't want to work. I like the fact that she can express herself in this way. She's has some really cool moves.

I have a mare that stall-weaves a little. The thought occurs to me that if I taught her to 'dance' it might be a way to channel her compulsion.

I think your mare would just love it. My mare dances all the time on her own. It is something that she can do that is fun for her and you can connect that to side-passing backing etc. so it is something that they need to learn anyway. Thank you so much for posting.
