I don't know the origins of this video. Can anyone help?

The song is from the best album ever, Green River.

  • Check out John's new DVD "Comin' Down The Road - The Concert at Royal Albert Hall". It has a wonderful version of this song. Plus an epic version of "Rock 'n' Roll Girls", and many other gems.

  • Who's playing the harmonica? I love CCR, and while I'm sure this appearance was great for promoting John's band, I'm sure he hated pretending to perform.

  • John played the harmonica on all the CCR records.

  • I have it on DVD that I got from a friend.

  • Every song they made was a hit!

BUT! Biggest hit is Johns hair.

  • Believe it or not, i can still remember rolling a big one and dancing around to this song one particular night in 1969. 54 now. crap where did all the time go. im too damn responsible nowadays. I guess thats why this song is still one of my favorites.

  • this is a good very good song!!!!!!

  • @TeamMastaPr2 I dont remember i going to search it , but believe me I saw it Im sure let me search

  • @saidramos77 Hmm... where did you get that info from?

  • @TeamMastaPr2 Is a studio men, you can record first the rhytm guitar , then the two harmonicas . Is difficult to hear the two harmonics but there are.Greetings Teammasta

  • @saidramos77 So... who's playing the rhythm guitar? I always though John played harmonica on those songs while Tom on rhythm guitar (I can still hear the guitar), Stu on bass and "Cosmo" on drums... btw it only sounded like 1 harmonica.

  • @TeamMastaPr2 Well sorry , in all the songs no , but i im talked about the songs whit harmonica .

An you are wrong , Tom Fogerty plays harmonica in Grayevard Train and Run trough the jungle , it doesnt appear in the disc credits but he did

  • @saidramos77 @MakkariRevival Harmonica in all songs? Never heard harmonica in every CCR tune, some songs like "Long As I Can See the Light", "Molina", "Sailor's Lament" and "(Wish I Could) Hideaway" have saxophone or organ instead of, and here's the harmonica songs by CCR:

Keep on Chooglin', Graveyard Train, Run Through the Jungle, Poorboy Shuffle, Feelin' Blue (in the intro)... Tom Fogerty never played harmonica... he played along with bass on "Graveyard Train" and "Run Through the Jungle"...

  • @MakkariRevival Jhon Fogerty plays harmonica in all the songs , but in Run trough the Jungle and Grayevard Train there are two harmonicas , one by John and the other by his brother Tom(RIP)
