bharatha natya shasthram composed by a hindu sage called bharatha muni, progenitor of this dance form is lord nataraj and his consort uma devi, so please indian christians kindly stay away from our religion which you have rejected, now aren't you shame or being hypocrite to adopt our hindu elements, why don't you dance the jew, or the abrahamic dances.

Its undeniable that Bharatanatyam has its origin from the Indian arts form and has been historically connected to Hinduism. However, any dance in its pure form transcends beyond religious boundaries. A number of negative comments here seem to be motivated by religious radicalism and prejudices. Bharatanatyam is universal form of art which transcends beyond the earthly understanding. So, quit being fanatics and be happy tht its continuously mastered by people of various religion and culture.
