The janitor at my high school was the cool guy everybody could talk to, not someone who was pitied or under appreciated.
I think it has to do with your attitude: every job can have dignity if you stay positive, and this guy did.

This song is pretty true in some aspects... I mean, it's odd how the janitors always got more respect than the teachers in the schools I went to...
Then again, we were blessed with wise, sagacious janitors.
