Chapter 17
(remember she ran into the house and looked out the window)
"What's up with you?" I jumped and spun around to see Molly looked at me weirdly.

"Oh, um nothing."

"Okay," she gave me another look then went back to her book.

I walked toward the stares then turned around, "Oh, Elsie need a ride tomorrow at 5:30."

She looked back at me, "Friday's my work day, you know that."

I sighed, "Okay I'll think of something." I smiled at her.

"Okay, hunny. Dinner will be ready in 45 minutes." she smiled at me then went back to her book.

"kay," I said and ran up to my room. I threw my things onto my bed and kicked of my shoes. I dug through my bag for my ipod and plugged it into my charger. I took out my books and started my homework. 40 minutes later I was done so I went down stairs to the kitchen, where Molly was
cooking. "What you making?"

"Oh, hey. I was just about to call you. Will you set the table 5? Jack has an old friend and his wife who are in town coming."

"Sure," i said getting out dishes.

"We are having Chicken Parm-" She got interrupted by the phone ringing.

"Would you get that please?" She asked, while balancing a pan and stirring something.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Hey Ann. it's Jack." he said from the other line.

"What up?"

"Can you set one more plate? Paul's 8 year old son is also coming."

"Sure, no problem" I told him.

"Great, see you in a bit."

"Bye," I hung up the phone then spoke to Molly, "They are bringing their 8 year old son."

She sighed, "Okay, will you watch him if needed?"

"Yeah," I set another seat, good thing we have a big table in the dinning room. "Need anything else?"

"Yes, they should be here soon, would you watch the food and just make nothing burns while I fix myself up real quick?"

"Yup,"

"Thanks," She ran up stairs. I watched the food and made sure nothing burned, she came back in about 5 minutes. "Back, you can go until they get here."

"Okay," i smiled at her and went back to my room. I unplugged my ipod and picked up my books. I walked to the hall closed and took out some blankets and pillows. I set them on my bed then stood there staring at my floor. I wonder if we have some kind of bed to put there. Maybe we should crash in the living room? I'll ask Molly. I walked into the hall. I heard Jack come home and people talking. Those voices sound so familiar. I walked back into my room and did a mirror check. I fluffed my hair and put some chap stick on. I looked down at my feet, I should put shoes on or socks. Na, I decided against it and walked back into the hall. As I walked down stairs the voices got louder, why did they seem so familiar? I know I heard them somewhere. I took the last step then turned the corner. As soon as I saw them my heart stopped
