This is one of my favorite soundtracks for one of my favorite movies. The movie also introduced my to the book it's based on: "The Killer Angels" by Michael Shaara. I'd recommend either for history buffs and whatnot. Jeff Daniels is also the perfect actor for Chamberlain. But enough talk, here ya' go.

Enjoy!

  • @raiders1815 You will be disappointed in God's and General's after watching this movie. Trust me on this

  • Why would 11 people hate this? The soundtrack is fantastic! I cant even explain it but there is sometime in it that makes you think about the troubles they went through. Ill love it forever!

  • It truly is a landmark soundtrack! An epic movie like this deserves a soundtrack like that!

  • One of the most stirring movies theme ever. You could close your eyes and almost picture the actual battle.

  • I remember using this song for the Demolay Degree. I played Jaques Demolay, and right as he gets taken out to slaughter for standing up for his friends, this song comes on. I'll always remember how impactful it was to hear this right afterwards.

  • @irishtaz44017: all my life i have lived 2 hours from there and have gone there every spring since i was a kid, it never gets old...it tops my favorite places to visit..and very, very beautiful town

  • When ever I hear this song, I can only think of one thing: no matter how horrible things are, it's going to be alright.

  • this is all i listened to when i was a kid...brings back some great memories...one of the best soundtracks of all time!

  • Right now as I write this the 14th Indiana is being called upon to save Cemetery hill

    Right now 148 years ago.

If that center had caved from the back side (as the 11th Corps was content to let happen) the thrid day would have been a foregone conclusion and July 3rd would be a day they celebrate down south! The nothern cause can thank the "old" northwest terretories for bailing them out of the war theyt started with the south with their big fat new england arrogant mouths!
