Ruslan plays Suliko - Georgian folk song

Ruslan plays Suliko, a Georgian love song. According to wikipedia, it was Stalin's favorite song. I can't substantiate that, but I will paste the lyrics below. If you look carefully at my father in law when my wife sits with him, you can see both joy and sadness in his eyes. My wife moved to the US 11 years ago, and she has not gotten to see her family much in that time. Her father played a critical role in getting her the opportunity to come to the US, and it was a bitter sweet gift to her. He goes on without his only child, while she is also torn between two worlds. I think this scene can be understood by all who leave home, but especially by immigrants who leave their old world behind as they embrace a new life.

@Ringo55753 Type "Suliko" in YouTube search and choose from the list pane "Trio" (three guys) it's a different group, but I found them the best from all others presented on Y-Tube.

as for "tsisperi trio" s "suliko, it's not on Y-Tube, I remember it from their disc., sorry
