Allegro Tristamente
Me and my friend Chen playing this lovely piece at my school's concert. Mind the acoustics, though!

By the way, the middle part is really too fast, but we had too speed up a bit, mainly because the concert was going to be too long...

  • The reverb from the hall that you're playing in slightly detracts from the overall performance.

Also, breath support on the high notes, as some of those higher notes were very flat.

  • I'll be sure to tell the clarinetist!

And yeah, the reverb is really horrible.

  • You have very nice color of sound! :) But some sounds was to down. Otherwise you play very good!

  • Yes, he does evoke the Gloria, but I hear dialog of the Carmelites there, too. I hear the Carmelites throughout the Gloria, too.

  • too much accoustic and at 01:04 and 01:16 you sound the FIS sounds for a quarter tone down.. and I`m hearing a little bit caos ... anything you`re in good way i think, because you have style and understands the structure

  • damn. . best i heard so far.

  • My teacher is makin me play this song.....and compared to you I SUCK!

  • this sonata was one of very last works before he died('63) so gloria was b4, you can also spot some parts from gloria in movement 2 romanza.

  • Beautiful. Did Poulenc compose this sonata before Dominus Deus? I thought I could hear some of Agnus Dei at 2:50.
