  • his puppeteer was on a break

  • @adamzez My post was a little weak, but you read through it very well. Even a curious, critical thinker would have excused himself, knowing only that we were "under attack" to find out the nature of the attack, given ICBM's can reach the country in under an hour. Can you imaging how apoplectic the republicans would be if that were Clinton? Oh, hell, who the fuck am I kidding, they would still be obsessing about the blow job.

  • "Children, I'm very glad to be here today and I'm very proud of you and your teacher. You are our future, but I've just received some very, very, very important news. And since I'm a very, very, very important person, I have to go and take care of this. I hope you understand. Have a nice day. Maybe I can come back another day and we can finish reading about your pet goat."

  • He could have excused himself!

  • @aelekes i don't agree. even to this day i still don't understand why he didn't stand up, apologise to the children for leaving early and get on with his job... there is not one person who would have blamed him for doing so... but to sit there, reading a book, when your country is under attack, doesn't seem right to me

  • What would you have done? Or do you expect bush to turn into Super President, he stayed was respectful to the kids with his comments at the end and left the room to address the issue that would define his presidency. Whether you agree with how he handled 9/11 attacks, afghanistan, or iraq the right way is another issue. But don't bash on him for being nice to children.

  • I hate George Bush, I'm convinced he's one of the most evil people alive. But uhm.. How exactly do you expect him to respond right away? That's a lot to soak in all at once, especially when you're supposed to take care of the mess.

  • I don't care whay they say about bush but I like him morw than obhama bin laden at least he did things and he had carisma he he's funny I think he's pretty cool too

  • why is everyone saying, it's bushes fault when 911 happen?

  • what would everyone be saying if he jumped up screaming telling everyone to PANIC!!!!???

  • He was too engrossed in his power rangers book...

  • this is so wierd, that same day he said that this story is not allowed in usa
