It's kind of weird how, since this cookie was discontinued like 20-something years ago, everyone posts here like "aw mane this is the greatest thing ever why did it have to be gone oh god why"
But they invented it just now and ran a commercial people would be like "this is disgusting this should be banned this is why everyone is fat I hope everyone from Nabisco dies you fat american scum"
Either way, it looks fucking cool.

I knew Jean Knight's "Mr. Big Stuff" (from 1971) existed in 1983 or 1984, but hardly knew it at all until this ad came along. Not only became one of my fave oldies of 1987, but it's been firmly entrenched in my all time top 500 ever since.

i want to try those. but now half the country would blame nabisco for their weight problem.

This goofy song pops into my head every now and then for no apparent reason. LOL I also always remember a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial song "Hit the Road Jack" from the 80's... The 80's were the best! If we could go back to that decade the world would be a better placale!! If Nabisco still sold these they would probably be sued for selling something with so manycalories and so much saturated fat.

I use to love these as a kid. I was 5 or 6 when they came out. It was always so exciting opening your lunch box to see what treat you were going to get that day.

This is one of the commercials I remember as a kid, mainly the song. I can't really remember the kids dancing around, but every time I happen to hear "mr. big stuff" I think of the oreo song. One of my fondest memories of the 80's was going to Toys "R" Us and getting some special box full of candy samples and coupons. An Oreo Big Stuff was included, and I remember thinking it was pretty good. '87 was a great year.

Wow, I loved this commercial back then. Brings back memories. It didn't hurt I loved oreos as well, as mostly all of Nabisco stuff
If kids today moved and danced like in the '80s, they'd be able to eat Oreos and STAY thin!

Wow, imagine how much those cost back then? Probably like 50 cents. But now if they came back, they would probably cost like 2 dollars, or more.
