  • Just finished a 3 minute S.T.A.L.K.E.R. short myself. Featured on my channel.

  • @EyesofTheKeeper Awesome man just checked it out. Great job with the editing and nice atmosphere with the lighting. Enjoyed the minimal nature of it as well. Don't always have to show the danger to make the audience feel it. Great job!

  • @breachgate Cool, thanks for checking it out. Aside obviously from the game itself, I was strongly inspired by your film which I think was absolutely brilliant. I'd like so much to make a longer, more fleshed out S.T.A.L.K.E.R. film. I'm just trying to first develop working relationships/friendships with people who are equally reliable and as passionate towards creating films as I am. I can't keep doing everything myself if I wish to push things further.

  • @breachgate I projection mapped the tunnel that we filmed in to a mock up mesh of the tunnel and rendered it out of maya, then comped in nuke.

  • @breachgate exporters would mangle the geometry of the mesh. Once I had that I had to rebuild the texture and normal map for the material and then rig the model in maya. once it was animated..

  • @jakubas1000 The bloodsucker was achieved through a few approaches. I had to work pretty hard at getting a model from the game that had proper edge flow. It exists in the game but the available..

  • @ergynation a variety of locations, most were found on ebay, one from the flea market. if you're thrifty you can usually get them at a reasonable price. Their origins vary we had one from Lithuania.
