@Rookerman32 I agree...Twitter is a generalised marketing modelled website with reference to social networking. To me facebook has more platforms that cater for a more personal contact. The guy is on about trends that are hot which is great for conversation, but also business opportunities and advertising. It's used to drive traffic for advertising, and gets it's revenue from ad space etc.
