Guam-It's been over 11 years since 5 marine preserves were established on Guam. Since then, it appears marine organisms are returning in numbers the island hasn't seen in decades! While there may be progress, concerns remain on whether these protected areas are truly working and if indigenous fishing rights should be restored. In part three of our special series, Josh Tyquiengco takes you under the sea to a place unlike any of the other preserves---the Piti Bomb Holes.
The University of Guam also released findings earlier last week that prove the Piti Preserve is effective in creating a surplus of fish that spill over to areas where they can be caught. You can view the entire 'Under the Sea' series our pacific news center website search engine.
