pfiberoptik - At 1:19 he said it was "art". That's one of the key words. Neil is primarily an artist -- great engineers often are artists too, well he has to balance that with common-sense and facts. Inventors know you have to have lots of ideas, most will be BS, one or two will be good.
I sometimes wonder if that's what Neil is doing, just putting the idea out into the atmosphere. I would like to think it was more real than that.

Um....nice idea and everything, but if everyone powered their homes and cars from CNG, there'd be a shortage of it in no time.
And you get better battery efficiency on electric vehicles that are light as possible...not big heavy lincolns.
Looks like Neil Young has himself a nice expensive pet project here and nothing more.
We should put our efforts towards improving battery technology.
