Let's Play Police Quest 2 - part 24 - Payback

We give The Death Angel a taste of his own medicine, and fly off into the sunset for the end to another Let's Play.

I had to remove the ending music and re-upload this video because YouTube was blocking the video in some countries. :-(

The total length of this Let's Play is 4 hours, 8 minutes and 37 seconds. That's only 15 seconds shorter than Police Quest 1. I swear I didn't intentionally make them this close together in length. :-)

A very good LP indeed! I especially enjoyed the MT-32 music, but as a narrator you're also great to listen to with your clear voice and funny remarks. I also appreciated the "dispatch radio voice" that you managed to do - I wonder if you used some sort of a program for that. :) In any case, super work. Thanks for all your vids.

@sabre517 Thank you! The dispatch voice was pretty simple, I just yelled loudly and then put it through a hard limiter filter in Audacity. :)

@VoyagesInEnglish What I said in the beginning was that I wasn't using an emulator for the MT-32. And that's true. Even though I'm playing under DOSBox, I'm using a real Roland MT-32.

@UNCLEBEN9000 I suppose Sonny ends up alone. The question is : how can you win the bad ending ? I tried this once : buy a bouquet of rose, bought a lobster. Results : Sonny ends up washing the dishes at Arnie's. However, Marie still say yes to marry Sonny. She's submitted and stupid ! :D

Sadly, the Police Quest series is deader than Jessie Bains today. It seems nobody wants to play with the rules of a police officer nowadays.

Wow, police budgets must be pretty rough considering they were only able to hire 3 band members.

But I digress, one thing I wish they did was give Bains more of a personality considering how important he was to both games. A little insight as to the motivations from the first game would've been nice. But that's it, Great job, can't wait for your other LPs.
