So not to be a smart ass, but yeah the Comfort Access System is really nothing new true. The Nissan Altima and Maxima come standard with a similar system yes, even the Toyota Camry. Just needed to say though, in your effort to be a smart ass, you actually gave the wrong info. The SmartKey system is only available on the Camry XLE and Hybrid models. It's ok, I want a M6 myself.

@MiekoSkyy I love my 335i, but I think it's kinda BS that I had to pay $500 more for comfort access. Ahh well, I guess it's on par with the ala carte way of offering options on German cars.
Oh and the extra $500 for alarm was BS as well.

@GM572 Douchebag? Do you actually know anything about me? Years ago, when I bought this car, someone asked me to post a video of the feature for them to see. If you waste 30 seconds of your life and then choose to extend that by commenting and revealing your low IQ in the process, that is entirely your look out.

It can only start if the key is inside the car, but once started, you could chuck the key out the window and it would keep running - fires off warning messages on the computer though.
