TO THOSE WHO KEEP ASKING HERE WHERE TO GET THE WELKYND STONES:

Chorrol Recommendation. Involves Teekeus and Earana. You gain the spell by following Earana's instructions. Make sure your health is good before casting the spell on the Cloud Top pillar.
I got the Fingers of the Mountain book and gave it to Teekeus first, stole it then gave it to Earana and stole it back straightaway (by pickpocketing her on the spot). Stealing it from Earana didn't make a scrap of difference to getting her Notes.
Oh and by the way, the book's called Fingers of the Mountain but the spell's called Finger of the Mountain. Hmmmmm....

@thadreazie Yes but really early on in the game it helps because it has small aoe and has shock damage, and not many creatures have shrock resistance

The Easiest way to get a stone at the start of the game is to go to the small you see when you get out of the sewers.
