Amateur boxing used to be great to watch. I can't watch olympic boxing anymore though because it bores the hell out of me! The scoring system is ridiculous, the headguards depersonalize the boxers as does the standard red or blue kit. I could go on but I'm sure you get my drift. Amateur boxers like Leonard, Tefilio Stevenson, Shawn O' Sullivan, Mark Breland etc brought excitement, skill, guts, power and personality to the amateur sweet science. We'll never see their like again.
