Im very excited for this new console but im also a little disappointed with how they gave very little info on. I felt like they only focus on the controller(which im kinda skeptical about) . But like i wanna know how much it'll cost and can u play wii/gamecube games on the new console

@bohosoul851 The Wii U is backwards compatible with the Wii, so you can play Wii games on it. I don't know about Gamecube, but probably not.

I really don't like this. Let's say you are playing Zelda. It would be awesome if you could look down and see your pack, but you would have to pause to be able to look at it if you were in a sticky situation. Well how is that different from bring up the inventory? I don't want to be constantly looking down at a small screen while I'm trying to play a game. For me it is taking away from the game instead of helping it. Nintendo needs to stop making things like this and focus on the core gamers.

Not really liking the whole thing. The controller is too bulky. Looks like it's gonna be as mediocre as the wii. Games need to be more simple to control instead of trying to experience the reality of what your playing. A novelty thats wearing thin now. My personal attitude towards the whole "experience the reality game" is way overrated

Why all the hate? I don't get it. I applaud Nintendo for being innovating and dreaming up new ways of playing games that look really cool. Some people complained about the Wii when that was around and then look who followed suite a few years later with their new motion control add-ons for their consoles. Some people are too into the graphics and buttons, etc. That's one thing that turned me off to a lot of later gen games...too much focus on that and not enough on the "fun" of the game itself
