@thing4asians I have my doubts as you should be able to tell from my comments in the vid, but if you saw as much painting as I do, then you'd know that doubts are not necessarily a bad thing. The fact that these works caused you to respond says something, no?

These paintings are, at best, first year student quality even if they are driven by notions of banality, image overload or just plain cynicism/irony. I see so much work like this nowadays that it has become the norm. Young painters might think that this is what they should be doing to make it. It's all very trite.
