Your retarted. Have u ever shot a 308. Have u ever shot a .50? No. I have A shit load. They use 50 cal bc no matter where u hit somebody at any distance it will disable them for good 100% of the time. 308 is use bc liberals cried about 3006 and they made it weaker=308 to use on people. At any distance on any person if u hit them in the head or chest they will be out. 5.56 does huge damage but only out to 300 yards. I've seen ss109 wounds look like 50 cal wounds

I admit the presentation of snipers in this video are sort of vaugue, but the reason why snipers use the .50 BMG round, is because it is usually for long distances, where the usual 7.62x51 might not hit the taget as accurately or as hard. But the main reason is in the name:"anti-material". Its used for disabiling vehicles and lightly armored ones as well. Hope that clears things up.

I have shot in real life, but refuse to touch MW3 again. I tried it on a friend's console and lost interest pretty fast. Same sloppy seconds matches, modders, lag switchers, etc. It hasn't been fun since 4. But enough about CoD on a Navy SEAL video. Snipers don't only use M40s or crappy M-16 variants. The M107 and M95 are pretty common. If you think a .50 cal is overkill, go look up the 20mm rifle.

@MrSimon3213 As an American, I still agree with that and wish it weren't true. I remember my step dad telling me when he spoke to an Israeli officer some years ago, and the guy said they take every death very seriously. Nobody is expendable to them. Notice how skilled they are in combat as well.

@spetsnazsniper56 I agree with you. That .50 could tear through a brick wall, (I'm not exaggerating) at a much farther distance. A sniper with a normal rifle with iron sights could have taken them out. And, it would have gone "pop" into the guys chest, it would've torn open the from of his body and gone out the other side.

@jeekilla1 dude i didnt say that because i play video games its godamn common sense! snipers are for sniping (thats long range) and pistoles and rifles are for range like this. and even then why would a sniper (like this dumbass) carry around a 30lb monster when a regular sniper would prove the same results. and furthermore why would the use a .50 to kill a target at this range that bullet is for fighting thousands of meters away. so it is not i who is being unreasonable
