I gotta go with Cenk here. The only time you hear about the urge to balance the budget is when the middle and poor classes take the hit. You don't hear about it when congress spends hundreds of billions on military-industry no-bid pork contracts or tax cuts for the rich.
We as Americans need to STAND UP and DEMAND the services we pay for through our taxes. Right now, most of our tax money goes to subsidize big corporations and the wealthy.
