1. I hate the flag
2. I hate all it represents
3. I think Byron is dumb as hell
4. But the right to free speech, plus the fact that he is really not being hateful by flying equals no harm no foul.. So let the little weirdo wave the flag

  • "From 1861-1865, the damnyankee came down into Dixie and waged 'total war' on the Great South and committed brutal acts of violence against Southern civilians, soldiers, and slaves."

"For 4 years, Northern scum illegally invaded the Great South and terrorized and killed Southern civilians, soldiers, and slaves."

"For me, loyalty towards the Great South is stronger and runs much deeper than patriotism towards the Union. Screw the Union."

  • I think you are misguided, just because of hate groups such as the KKK and NSM hijacked it, it's not a racist symbol. The confederates fought over the issue of states rights and unfair taxing, and also, 100,000 free black soldiers willingly fought for the confederacy. And the small town from New York, a free state, known as Town Line, joined the confederacy.

  • I wonder what them white folks think of this?

  • @MRYOUNG702 I hope that your sarcasm does not include the first part of your comment. Peter was the first pope. Paul, which is all that protestants read, had probably the biggest role in the early church. The term Catholic was used to desribe the new church by St. Ignatius in the 1st century. Don't even try to make that argument. No theologian with half a brain would. As for Mary, we do not pray TO her. We pray to God, but ask Mary and the saints for intercession. Big difference.

  • @polishclark LOL... See how much I know... I thought he started the Protestant church.. I'm not sure I would call a Catholic a Christian.. Follower or BEeliever makes a big difference in this context.. Because A true Christ follower would never pray to Mary, or canonize, their cousin on Friday and pray to him Saturday morning.. Gotta agree with ya there

  • @polishclark I mean what shadowmancer wrote. I forgot to look at the name tag lol.

  • @MRYOUNG702 Well, He established the Catholic Church, so, in that sense, I do not believe that protestants are Christ followers (which is what it means) in the real intent of the word. But, I mean no offense. I thought you were labeling Catholics as non-Christian, so I just wanted to correct that, since i had a protestant roommate who tried convince me of that. But, he also thought that the King James version of the Bible was the original and first bible ever written lol.

  • @polishclark If by definition Christian means believer in Christ, then why not call them Christian? & why does it matter? People say that religion is devisive, but the only people it divides are the religious. Who cares what religion Martin Luther was. Those were important historicl milestones but Christ didn't preach Lutheran, Baptist, Catholic or anything else. We spend way tooo much time arguing almost ancient ideologies (1 Tim 1:4 KJV). My view? "If you believe let's roll"

  • @shadowmancer122 There def was corruption(not paganism), but the counter reformation did revive and reform the church. Pius V was one of the greatest of that time. Yes, I am a papist, but that wasn't my argument. I was just making the point that if you look at it historically, protestants can't make a claim to christianity. Especially if you consider the fact that in luther's life time, the "reform'" movement was already splintering into every which direction.

After reading this sugary dribble I feel like I should get checked for diabetes.
