Her lyrics aren't that absurd, she's singing a fairly straight forward song about two lovers who are struggling with a sizzling relationship. It's taking a light hearted stab at young love where the couple thinks their situation is so unique when, in reality, it's as flawed as everyone else's, perhaps even more so given that the "boars" and "mollusks" can seemingly be more happy than them.
