  • I dont like the idea of people putting other producers samples on blast. I mean it would be awesome if most people would just search the sample to listen to it, but they ask for the sample cus they want to sample it. Plus its more satisfying finding your own samples cus it makes you feel like no one in the world has sampled that but you. Thats just me though

  • hahahaha that roy ayers cover made me laugh!

  • You forgot Gentle Giant ~ funny ways, and Stevie Wonder ~ alfie soundtrack! A smart man could find a treasure trove of samples from my youtube page ;)

  • Yeah what's the sample?

  • I also agree that people shouldn't be putting out what producers sample and that you should look for your own samples, but I disagree that good samples are getting harder and harder to find. There is a whole world of music out there to sample. As you can see from the list, it included several genres of music and also non-American music. The real sample-based producers are creative and will never run out of music to sample to make beats with.

  • Hawaiian Punch Sample: Prima Klima ~ Kraan

  • Wtf,you didnt even tell us the sample that plays at 6:02...Well,what the fuck is it?

  • @OnlyRawAudio

That would be nice, but its a different day and age

  • @OnlyRawAudio word, i hear you. but the pickins are slimming down. most of the good samples are from the 70's or 80's and it's getting really hard to find really good samples that have NEVER been used. It is more respectable and original to be the first to use a sample, but it like I said it's getting harder and harder to do that. Although sampling is becoming a lost art, there's still more competition in the field than ever before. and thanks for having a decent conversation with me lol :)

  • @DankulousTV Yeah, im all for finding cool music but a lot of cats that tend to ask for the sample usually end up using the same parts that the person who sampled it first used. Thats what bugs me, get the same sample and flip it different don't do the same shit thats biting.
