Greetings everyone!

You are invited to participate in this research project because you are part of the targeted audience who are deaf and hard of hearing. We spread this word through Deaf network, press releases, email distribution. The survey is due by December 5, 2011. We will appreciate if you will, please spread the word.

The IRS Accessibility survey, consisting of twenty-eight questions, is now available online to the deaf/hard of hearing public at the following URL: https://www.research.net/s/DHOHaccessASL. Each question is presented in both English and linked to a video in American Sign Language (ASL).

Our organization is excited to support an online survey sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS has retained NOVAD Management Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm in Landover, MD to conduct a survey and a research the best possible practice on IRS accessibility for Deaf and Hard of Hearing taxpaying citizens.
The survey is online for a limited amount of time. So we encourage all deaf/hard of hearing taxpayers to participate in this survey by December 5, 2011. Your input is valued and appreciated.

Please follow this link to the DHOH Accessibility survey https://www.research.net/s/DHOHaccessASL. Feel free to pass this email along to your friends, family members, and colleagues.

Additionally, I may overlook some important support people like ASL interpreters, VRS interpreters, tactile interpreters, service support personnel, CPA, tax preparers, enrolled agents, etc. Please participate and fill out the survey. Be sure to identify yourself in question #24 -- Profile and Categorization. They will be an important part of the recommendation report.

Thank you! - Jim Bishop, IRS/DEAF President
