Uaru cichlid

Here are two Uaru cichlids in our 75 gallon tank. They are gorgeous fish. The largest one is about 8 inches. The water is murky because we just put in a bunch of fake plants. Uaru cichlids are vegetarians and they ate all the plants in my beautiful planted tank right down to the roots! They even try to munch on the new fake plants but are disappointed. There is a lot going on in this video. You can see our tiny new Yoyo Loach zipping around and later in the video our full grown Yoyo. If you watch for it, you can also see our long, eel-like Weather Loach fart! The other fish are a few varieties of Rainbowfish

is that rummy nose tetras you have in there? do the Uaru's not eat them? I'm thinking of keeping Uaru's but thought they would be quite aggressive towards smaller fish, especially rummy noses ..

Hey just noticed u have boeseman rainbowfish with ur polypterus, polypterus never hurt or killed ur rainbowfish? just curious coz i wanna put mine in the same tank.Thnx

igot 4 in 6ft tank they are great fish really friendly and generally peacefull nice tank and love the loach also

Do you ever feed it vegetables? My carpintis loves spinach and he isn't even a vegetarian.
