@Fyllis I saw them about half a dozen times here in the US. Not to rub it in, but as powerful as they are on CD, they are twice as much live. I didn't get into them until Over The James was released, but a number of friends rememeber seeing them play in quite a few living rooms and basements. I can't imagine the presence Avail would have in a 15'X15' living room. Here's hoping they get back together. Cheers.
@autumnFire666 I never even got a chance to see them at all. Don't even know if they ever went here to sweden... Really sad they broke up, they're still, after listening to them for maybe eight years, giving me the shivers every time I fire up any of their tunes. Fuck, my summer wouldn't be a real one without starting the day with tunes like 'Black and red', 'Cross ties', 'Simple song' and so on. RIP, RIP indeed....
Holy shit. I almost forgot the intensity of a great Avail show. It was like group sex with 200 friends and strangers with no strings or STDs. Every time I saw them play I was fucking exhausted. RIP, Avail. I'd cut off a digit to see them play again.
