Bro. Johnnie Batchelor was Awesome on that guitar and I felt so privilaged to know him personaly. It was a tragic morning when my Mom told me he had passed away. I miss him so much and all the times he used to make me laugh and smile even when I was not my happiest... I Love & Miss You Bro. Johnnie!!!!!

geez, I really hate to hear that. I hadn't seen him in probably a year and a half but I use to see him every 3 or months at pickins before that. Really a nice guy. Thanks for the info.

Yep, that's Johhny. We still can't believe it ourselves. But daughter Lindsay, who is a *killer* mandolin player, is continuing the family tradition -- she's alreaby played at R.A. Fountain since Johnny passed -- and I hear the younger daughter Brooke has taken up bass. Johnny left those girls well equipped to go forward. There's talent in that Batchelor gene pool.
