I use a shampoo with no sulfates in it. It removes the products I use, which are always silicone/mineral oil free. I haven't had problems with build up that the shampoo couldn't handle.

@MoonCreme Ok correction hun. First off, non-sulfate shampoos DO NOT cleanse the hair of any product! So they are WORTHLESS! The only sulfate that one should be avoiding in a shampoo is SODIUM LAURETH/LAURYL SULFATE (badly dries hair, damages the insides and gets rid of hair's natural oils) and DIMETHICONE (The silicone that sits on hair preventing any moisture from entering the hair). The ingredient we MUST look for in shampoo to clean hair = AMMONIUM LAURYL SULFATE. It is gentle AND cleanses.

@lalalynnsey lmfao! I always notice this! They give an answer that is so vague and general that it seems like your question is being answered, but then when the vid is over, it's like wtf? I haven't learned anything!

is it just me, or do most of these expert village videos not answer your questions at all?
