"Oh they're selling out" "oh that's not how black people are." So I ask you...how are black people then. You don't need a black writer to be able to tell a black story all the time. (The creator and one of the writers are black) but who cares.

Honestly some people need to lighten up and embrace fresh ideas.
This is a fresh comedy which shows young and talented black people in a positive light. People with charisma, drive, passion and talent: so if this is how the BBC perceive young black people isn't that a good thing? And further more this show isn't trying to appeal to a small minded audience that always has an issue whenever a black person appears on telly.

Saw this prog yesterday. Embarassing! Who green lit this show? This is how the BBC views black people. If its not the The Crouches (a black sitcom written by white writers) or Baby Father (a show based on Patrick Augustus's novel which even saw him retreat from the project because of the over baring reach of white influence) its a new 2008 show depicting a fat black guy and his wide eyed minstrel side kick. Look how far we have not come. Stick with Lenny Henry BBC. He will unite us all. THINK!
Fantastic!
