This is a HD Video shoot I did for the www.c3stockport.net which is a network of people and groups with Christian community at its heart. They are also a creative group with many different creative outlets, one of which being photography. It was the photography which played a big part in this event I shot, The Photography exhibition named Expressions of Love.
I was asked by c3stockport to cover the Exhibitions launch party on the 4th Feb and enjoyed the shoot & looking at the great prints that were shown.
This exhibition was organise by Lisa Chan Brown (www.yattyimages.co.uk) and Lou Davis and other members of c3stockport, with help from Broadstone Mill Ltd for a sutible location ..see (www.broadstone.co.uk) for more information.

did u shoot this with canon 500d hd?? i have noticed from my 500d experiences that the video is really jerky when using a larger lens..it's that detailed re: focus & pic quality..

@newellgirl Yes it was shot with the 500D in 720P 30FPS. Video with DSLR's can be tricky as sometimes depending on light/lens used Depth of field can becoem quite shallow & on the 500D you have no manual control. Larger lens or telephoto lens will be difficult to keep steady and would really need a tripod. Trick is to keep all action amd movements as smooth as possible, and practice (which I still do). I used a Mono Pod as a makeshift steady cam but you still have to move carefully. Rick

Do you have a tripod ? you may want to use one of those for when the lady was talking, and for most pan shots, also a monopod would help when going up and down. But very good :D :D how did you get this job?

@JPettsProductions Thank you... I unfortunately did not have chance to set back up on mono pod for the speech so it was hand held. Did not use ficed tripod for pans as not enough safe room, with out being in the way of exhibits so decided to use mono pod to move freely. Home build steady cam rig soon I think.
Thank you for your continued feedback.
