For the first time on the show, one of Ellen's favorite bands were here to perform, "Called Out in the Dark" from their CD, "Fallen Empires." Watch it here!

  • Well 3 are from N.Ireland, 2 from Scotland. Formed when together at Dundee University, now based in Glasgow and were once signed to a Scottish independent label, so i'm sure Ellen can be forgiven!?

  • They're from Bangor in Northern Ireland, not Scotland!

  • I think David Letterman said they were from Scotland as well. Oh well. It's about the music people :)

  • I love Snow Patrol and I love Ellen!!! This is great!!!

  • @ritchieboyuk Think they're actually based in London now, but eitehr way your sentiment holds true. They have a lot of connections to Scotland. Think this is one of those times I don't mind them using British to describe them as they have connections to pretty much all the countries in the UK!

  • this is awesome & makes me pure while I sing with it!

  • @ritchieboyuk gary is based in Northern Ireland now..

  • Whatever where they're from? You listen to their music which is PERFECT!

  • @RetroSnowflake Every talk show I have seen them on have said Scotland.

  • @WhileWereStillYoung What are you's talking about lol it is two completely separate countries haha! people replying with that answer seriously dont have a clue. ireland has its own government its own law its own currency! were as Northern ireland is British ruled has its own goverment and has british currency. Yea theres that big border there because its the same country hahaha. and it will never be a united ireland

  • @TottenhamJohnify being from northern ireland i'd just like to say anyone from here who talks about donegal being down south are idiots and not representative of the population

  • @rihannasmonkey I take it with that stupid comment u have to be irish?Thats like me saying oasis was from northern england and not england. Its just retarded. I have been over in ireland and the people as nice as they are most of em are a tad thick.Donegal most northern irish you can get yet the people call it southern ireland?I was in londonderry going to malin head and a local told me i was going south yet i was going north, Irish people seem to lack basic geography
