The ninth annual Spokane Street Music Week brought a talented array of local musicians to downtown sidewalks the week of June 13. Led by Spokesman-Review writer Doug Clark, the musicians performed during the noon hour each day, collecting donations in their red buckets to help Second Harvest feed people in need. Spokane Mayor Mary Verner made a special appearance again this year, joining Doug Clark and Joe Brasch to sing her rendition of "Higher Love."
well congrats to the mayor for having the courage to be up there...BUT...please stick to your day job.
