@thisislogout no, the Duchess was his second female guitar player. There is a great story in the Fanzine " Blue Suede News" #37 winter '97, that (I think) you can still find cheap on ebay, about Lady Bo! highly recommended!

Bo didn't do much with the guitar except use it as a percussion instrument, but it was fuckin' baaaaddd!!!! And he was a sweet guy too.
