CAPS Farm Manager Tim Harris explains the process of laying tile in a field in southwest Minnesota. He describes the role of GPS, the insertion equipment, the reasons for tiling the field and the relationship to yield. He also notes that, with more farmers in the region using this process, it is becoming difficult to obtain tile. www.capitalag.com

  • Time Harris states that this was a rental unit but since the video, they have purchased a Big Bud to use for tiling. He will give them a call to see if he can find out what the model number is and get back with you. He does not have anymore video of this machine. But he says he will be sending more clips from Minnesolta farms in the near future.

  • I checked with the farm manager, Tim Harris, and he does not recall what the model of the tractor was, but that it definitely was a Big Bud.

  • Do they own it or did they rent that Big Bud? Their isn't too many 665 Buds out there. Thanks again, Anymore video?

  • Would that be the Big Bud 665 rented from Big Equipment for this kind of work?

    Interesting vid. Good info.
