Thank you for making this movie. If we don't get it in San Antonio, I'm going to find a way to watch it all the way in Dallas. The movie looks great, and it seems like it's stayed true to Rand's message.

Enforcement of contracts is a normal function.

I would rather see ostracism than violence, just make sure your contracts include the "guys with guns" parts and we're cool.

@CurtHowland As any banker or land lord can tell you, you can have legitimate claims to money which people will refuse to give you voluntarily. We use men with guns to enforce foreclosures and evictions for that reason.

This statement was true when money was tied to tangible assets, i.e. gold/silver. However, with FIAT money the thesis is somewhat compromised. However, it is the correct philosophy behind money which is both a store of value and a medium of exchange.
