@Jaybyrdxxx dude ur the one who needs to review their history, france wasn't a nation until a few years before the Hundred years war. It was made up of frankish kings, and independent states

I'm starting to...well basically take an interest in Englands history being English myself and it's definetely amazing to see, hear and learn of our ancestors.
@Jaybyrdxxx Yes, and that person would be you. It is wrong to assume that because Normandy TODAY is part of France, that it is correct to state that the Normans THEN were French. They weren't They French, they were Norman. France did not exist. The Normans were quite different to the largely Frankish and Gallo-Roman population in that they were from Scandinavia. Today of course, after centuries of intermingling, the French race is far more homogenous than 1000 years ago. Educate yourself.
