I never expected them to put a 2D Mario game on the Wii so I got real excited when I heard about New Super Mario Bros Wii. I ws starting to think that Nintendo didn't care about the hardcore gamers. I was wrong. Nice video btw.

Since you weren't sure on who came up with the new Mario game ideas (1:25-1:30), it was Shigeru Miyamoto. Head Producer of most Mario games and creator of Wii, he also made the other famous Nintendo series Zelda, Metroid etc.
