Not true. both his parents don't have to be natural born. Read the Constitution and also read U.S Supreme Court Perkins v Elg 307 US 325 1939. A girl born here from alien parentage(both parents were Sweden) SCOTUS declared her natural born citizen, she can even be President. Anchor babies are American citizens even though parents are illegal aliens.

Sorry, that Lawyer is mistaken. And in fact that is not what the constitution states. Both parents must be citizens and not subjects of another juridiction.

I am curious how you get that number though? I have seen many kooks say 800k to 1 million never with citation. I just wonder where the origin of most kook info is? World Net Daily? Are all kooks just collective Borg who lie the same way?

I ask an immigration lawyer and he told me because of the fact of (just soli) born in Hawaii, and his mom being a US citizen he was natural born citizen(no matter the mother's age)& no matter his father's citizenship. The lawyer told me if he wasn't he couldn't even run for Presidency.

The closest I've ever seen to an explanation is some filing where apparently Obama's campaign spent 800k on legal fees. From there, WND makes the assumption that all 800k was on birther lawsuits, and they keep upping the number every few months.
WND also made up a complete lie that there was a ban on Americans traveling to Pakistan in 1981. This is factually untrue.
So yeah, WND is not the most reliable source out there.
