If someone leaves their dog in a crate while they are at work then they should not have a dog. If its to stop your dog from getting out, you need a new fence; if the dog can escape than it is obviously not secure. If you keep your dog in a cage because it will chew your belongings, then you have clearly not trained it properly, and it is probably bored. If you can't provide your dog with enough stimulation, or for some reason aren't capable of training it properly, then you should not have one.

@SuperHappyVegan Nothing wrong with crating your puppy while you are at work. Unless your working 10 hours. I crate my dog for about 5-6. Alot of times my wife comes home and its even less time.. Dogs enjoy a safe place..

hey, love the vid, just have a question, you said we should introduce the puppy a couple days after they have moved in with you, but before the crate where is the most comfortable place a puppy can sleep? should we put it in the crate in our bedroom and afterwards in the living room or in a bed in our room? thx :)

@buttpoop7 she said to put bedding in but if they pee to remove it forever permanetly never again put it in there. she was talking about a pet bed. not like bedding for rats or reptiles.

@SuperHappyVegan crate training is one of the best ways to house train a dog. and keeping it in a crate while you are at work will keep it safe. sometimes it doesnt matter how weell you train them they will still get into things they shouldnt, like your fridge.

I had a bulldog that was not even crate trained but love going in and out/ staying in his crate. Now i have another dog that hates his crate and whines and tore any blanket i put in his crate , and he doesnt even pay attention to treats or toys i give him inside when his inside his crate:( im getting frustrated coz i have to bring him everywhere i go.
Thx soo much!! I mean at first we tried to MAKE him stay in his kennel which looks exactly like this one in the vid. allllll night, and he would cry and bark. we were about to give up and then we saw this video and now he sleeps with the door open, but we are still trying to keep him calm while the doors closed, no luck yet but we r hopeful!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH

I don't like crate training. Too many people leave their dogs in the crate for TOO LONG.
