Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - First Blood on Professional

Angelwing setup: combat engines, 4x bubble energy shells, 2x plasma cannons, ECM.

Tactics: Order your destroyers and frigates to stay close to the Colossus. Give weapons and shield 200% energy on your cruisers, activate ECM on Angelwing and ECCM on Avalanche. Approach the nearest enemy cruiser, fire all weapons on the nearest destroyer. When it's destroyed, target the second destroyer and by this time, you should be close enough and should switch to combat engines. The third target will be the cruiser with the less shields. After you down it, the enemy will retreat.

I can't believe you aced this mission on Professional on 1.01! You took advantage of their retreat trigger, right? Do you think you could get the medal (Destroy All Enemies, no escapees) in this mission on Professional? It was difficult enough for me on Experienced.

I wrote everything I did on the vid's comments. I played this on 2x speed, because I found that Nexus vids usually are kinda... sleepy, if you know what I mean :)

Retreat trigger: the gorgs pull out if they can't use their siege laser and the fort shield is up. So either you disable the siege laser or take down three ships.

I can do the secondary goal; the difference is that I take down a cruiser as a second, then bring the smaller vessels to combat, to disable their engines.

@Lewyrus How you could get 4 Bubble Shells? I only see 3 of them and it's nearly impossible to take down the second destroyer quickly.

Im on this mission now, i did manage to blow up the Siege Cannon, but they didnt retreat so i had to blow up the battleship, i lost the Brutus as well :(...
