  • Interesting alternative to a Transtrem.

But I have a few questions:

-no "how to" install vid? fine adjusting vid?

    - US patent 6.375.311 , 6375011,6375911 or 6375811 (reading the number on your online photos, the number before "11" isn't clear) do NOT correspond to any trem device, why? Fake/wrongly printed pat number? this is serious!

-to sell your device, transposition is cool but flutters, divebombs and screams even more so. Can it flutter and db ? Online demo possible?

  • @kernunoos go to freepatentsonline (d'com) and look at patent # 6875911 (scroll down to after the advertisements). “Download pdf” (just above the “box”).

We currently do all installations. Quite a bit of drilling & routering is done to accommodate all the features. Available installed on ChordBender (d'com).

It flutters/warbles about as well as any other. We have it on our enhancement list to develop an adjustable weight capable of producing deeper warbling at different freq's.

  • TransTrem/Steinberger? See the shopping guide’s comparison on ChordBender (d'com).

Screams? Just crank it up. youtube (dirty double dealer onesko)

New videos I just put on my to-do list

Adjusting it for alternate tunings. Blame physics; there was just no way around that issue. We made the best of it though as you can read about in the patent.

    See next reply.

Merci beaucoup pour votre intérêt (et l'utilisation de l'anglais)

  • New videos I just put on my to-do list

There is nice “standard setup” dive-bombing in the video mentioned in these responses.

Part of deep dive-bombing is usage of the strings that are extremely sensitive like the fat E. We have compensated those so they do not dive as much. HOWEVER, you can easily adjust the fat E’s cam so it dive-bombs MORE than you are probably used to!!

    Warbling option.

  • @alexxx2909 I've listened repeatedly at about 2:03 in the intro video and don’t hear it; iffy guitarist – me - yes. Get a 3rd opinion? Evaluate all the bending in video?

When we set a ChordBender to return perfectly on down bends - and then try up bends - the guitar will have perfect returns on about half the strings and 0.1 half-step errors on the other half for a GREAT average imperfection of about 0.05 half-steps (not detectable by most people). I’ll try to add such a video.

  • @ChordBender well, here is how you should make a video that would convince everybody:play an open chord.e major or a major for ex.move the whammy bar down once and let it return to 0 by itself.play the open chord again.do no touch or play anything.use the whammy bar in the opposite direction once.play the chord again.no other movement should be made, cause they can confuse the listener,or hide the difects of the bridge.hope you take my criticism in a positive way.cheers

  • @ChordBender yes sure.i really don't mean to disrespect your job,it looks really nice and i am sure you did a lot of research, but here is the fact:the guitar at 2.03 is out of tune.badly.and it seems to me that the man in the video notices that and avoids clear chords.but it isn't a shame....nothing i 've tried or seen works for real.i don't even think that the problem can be solved completely.would you like to demonstrate the contrary?

  • @alexxx2909 Can you be more specific please?

  • don't want to be unpolite but it sounds to me that the guitar does not stay in tune at all.

  • That is un-fair to use a Strat with Whammy system not even setup to float, and that also effecting arm tenson. Just because you can't bend chords perfectly doesn't mean you won't use it. Nice marketing scam, you also have the gliest looking unit...
