HP 2730p stylus pointing problem

Just unbox the HP2730p and find the stylus pointing problem. The accuracy is quite poor, especially on the task bar which is mostly used. Even I re-calibrate the stylus many times or recover the OS. The problem cannot be fixed.

After replacement of a new hp2730, the same problem still appeared. At last, HP CS suggested replace only the display unit. Problem fixed!!!

You are in laptop mode using the stylus, isn't the touchscreen designed for tablet-mode, when using the stylus?

Oh man I was gonna buy this laptop but now I don't want to anymore. I need a tablet that I can use to take notes in the class and to make education-related drawings. What do you recommend?

had the same problem. fixed it by doin following:

-uninstall digitizer driver

-shut down cpu

-take out battery and put back on

-reinstall driver software

-calibrate screen

It worked out that way for me.
