I agree with Riogarcia,because everyone learns differently and some people,including myself, who are VISUAL learners, can only learn from being shown step-by-step. The advantage of visual learning is that for many people they only need to be shown a single time.Whereas people who can learn from written instructions often need to re-read several times before they can do it.

This is GREAT! I've never tried picking up stitches this way, and my current project is RIGHT at this point -- I'll use this method to pick up stitches for the bands on a cardigan. Thanks!

I wish there was some instruction to go along with your video -- the text is too small to read, and there's no voice-over. I'm not quite sure if this is the tutorial I needed.

Great help. Never would have thought to do it that way. I usually just put the knitting needle though to collect the stitch.

thanks! I was crocheting an edge on something knitted to avoid picking up stitches and realised the crochet loops could be turned into knitted loops -
