LOL this sounds soooo bad. I've always thought she sounded so good and this video seems to be her first real live and only performance because I noticed she likes to lip synch a lot. Of if it's live she's singing over a backing track.

yeah still quite an accomplishment. What was nice was that she didn't have that "mariah Carey" voice that so many young stars try to clone.. which in of itself is derived from whitney houston. I mean for 30 years we've heard the same shit and in comes alize with hr deep soulful voice. I luv this period were she was just starting and her voice was so nasally.. I called her Nasalée!
