-From, "IL CORPO" (Italy, 1974)
-"THE BODY" (USA)
-"CORPO =PARATIISI TUHOUTUU" (Finland)
-"EL CUERPO" (Spain)
-"TO KORMI" and "LAURA" (Greece)

Eritrean model Zeudi Araya starred in an erotic comedy trilogy: "La Ragazza Fuori Strada" (1971), ""La Ragazza Dalla Pelle Di Luna" (1972), and "Il Corpo" (1974). Each has a brilliant score by Piero Umiliani, and the third is absolutely essential. DJs and Funk fans, dive in: this is some of the best stuff you've never heard!

"Il Corpo" is easily in the Top 10 of Italian Soundtracks that anyone should own. It is wall-to-wall brilliance, a smorgasbord for fans of trippy Funk, sultry Lounge Jazz, baby-makin' Soul, early 70's Electronic Music, BreakBeats, and retro-Electro. BUY IT!

  • this is a groovy tune

  • Baby-makin' soul is right! I'm about to play it twice to get twins. Sounds a little like Mr. Scruff.

  • Yummy!

  • ah ahah sorry man but you learn me nothin' new ... it's more than 10 years now that i know that the official birth of disco is 1974....

You did not read me well ... i 've said the 76 contamination of disco...the year it became a woldwide phenomenon...in 74 it was a baby... just a lil bit more than a fuckin' embryo... it was present in just rare places ...

It s like with the punks who some considere 1973 or 75 as official birth(again NYC!)... but became highly contagious only since beg. 77...

  • @BohemianConspiracy Shows how much you know. Disco was already alive by 1974 in NYC and it did not sound like the Village People. Learn your music before you make elitist comments. This has as much disco influence as any. Listen to Patti Boulaye.

  • extraordinario, una exquisitez

  • @BohemianConspiracy

    whats the comparison?

  • oh... this is really better than the 3 ocean's eleven quite annoying and "too much in your face" soundtracks... here this is the real mid 70s stuff... before the 76-77 contamination of disco...

Probably that Tarantino already had this one in his cool vinyl collection
